How we handle data on lyncs.ai
We built Lyncs around keeping our partners’ client data private, so we hold our own website to the same standard. This page explains what we collect when you visit lyncs.ai, why, who we share it with, and how to reach us. It is written to be read, not to hide behind length. If a buyer’s security team is reviewing us, this should answer their first questions.
01 Scope
This policy is published by LYNCS LLC (“Lyncs”, “we”, “us”) and covers the website at lyncs.ai. It explains how we handle information from visitors, prospective partners, and job applicants.
It does not cover the AI operations work we deliver for our MSP partners. That work is governed by the separate agreement we sign with each partner, including how their clients’ data is handled. As a rule, client data stays on-site with the partner’s customer and is not processed through this website.
02 What we collect
Information you give us
- Booking a call. When you schedule a demo, our booking form and calendar run on our own self-hosted systems. You provide your name, email, business type, and optionally a phone number. Confirmation emails are delivered through our email provider, and the calendar invite is created in Google Calendar. Our booking system also records technical information such as your IP address and device or browser type.
- Job applications. Our careers form collects your full name, phone number, email address, the role you are applying for, and the CV file you attach. Applications and booking notifications are delivered to us by email through Resend. We do not store CVs in a public location or a third-party form database.
- Anything you send us. If you email us directly, we keep that message and your contact details so we can reply.
Information collected automatically
Our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, request time, and browser user-agent) to operate and secure the site. If you allow it in our cookie banner, we also run Google Analytics to see which pages get used (section 4 explains the choice and how to change it). We run no advertising trackers and no session recording: there is no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no Segment, and no advertising cookies on this site.
03 How we use it
- To respond to your questions and schedule and hold demo calls.
- To review job applications and contact candidates.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the website, including defending against abuse.
- To meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or to build profiles for third parties.
04 Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies in two groups. You choose what runs, and you can change your mind at any time.
- Necessary. One cookie, lyncs_consent, which remembers the choice you made in our cookie banner so we stop asking. It lives on your device for 180 days and cannot be switched off, because remembering your answer is the thing it does.
- Analytics. Google Analytics, which tells us which pages people use and where they leave. On by default, and switching it off stops it and clears the cookies it had set on your device. We run no advertising pixels and no session recording either way.
To change your choice, use the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page.
Separately, the booking calendar in our demo modal loads from cal.lyncs.ai, a booking system we host ourselves. It may set functional cookies of its own (session and scheduling state, no advertising), and no third-party scheduling service is involved.
Your browser also lets you block or clear cookies for any site, ours included. Doing so will not break the rest of the site; at most, the booking widget may not function and we will ask about cookies again.
05 Service providers
We keep our vendor list short on purpose. These are the third parties that may process limited information on our behalf when you use the site:
Each provider handles your data under its own privacy policy. We share only what each one needs to do its job, and nothing more.
06 Data retention
- Job applications. We retain applications and CVs for up to 12 months so we can consider you for current and near-term roles, then we delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
- Booking details. Demo bookings are stored in our own self-hosted systems and kept while we are in contact with you. We keep call notes only as long as we need them for the conversation.
- Server logs. Kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then rotated out.
07 Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, including a submitted application.
- Stop using your information for a given purpose.
To make a request, email security@lyncs.ai. We will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or US state privacy laws may give you additional rights, and we will honor those that apply to you.
08 How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, sets modern security response headers, and limits who can reach the small amount of data it handles. The careers form validates and size-limits uploads on the server, rate-limits submissions, and screens out automated spam. No website can promise perfect security, but we keep the surface small and the controls current.
09 Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10 Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear on the page rather than buried.
11 Contact
Questions about privacy, or a request about your data, can go to security@lyncs.ai. We are LYNCS LLC, the Hybrid AI Operations Partner for local US IT and MSPs.
